Tonight we updated the Public JCP instances to latest JOSP version 2.2.1.

Updated JOD Distribution TEMPLATE to version 1.0.1.

Among other things, the most important changes were:

• Set 2.2.1 as default JOD Version
• Added full support for Windows via powershell

Today we released the John OS Platform version 2.2.1 with bug fixes from version 2.2.0.

With this tool, you can create a JOD Distribution in minutes.

A JOD Distribution is a compressed archive that can be shared among user and allow them integrates JOSP Objects to their IoT EcoSystem. Users can download and install a JOD Distribution on their computer, on remote devices or whatever the JOD Distribution require (it's common for a JOD Distribution to be hardware dependant). Once installed and running, the JOD Distribution expose a JOSP Objects to the Public JCP.

With the JOD Distribution TEMPLATE, anyone can create his own JOD Distribution in minutes.

I'm happy to announce the John OS Platform version 2.2.0 with the new JCP microservices JCP Front End and JCP JSL Web Bridge.

This release solves many bugs encountered during version 2.1.0 development and increase communication stability.

From today, you can go to www.johnosproject.org/frontend and access to your IoT EcoSystem. Let's start connect objects and interact with them directly from the web or one of the JOSP Services.

Here the release John OS Platform version 2.1.0 (not released).

This version did not approve the release process. So it's only an internal version. It includes updates for the JOD Agent, the JSL library and the JCP platform components JCP APIs and JCP GWs. It includes also a partial implementation of the JCP FE and JCP JSL WB microservice of the JCP platform.

We published the first release of the 2.x.x series.
It includes the JOD Agent, the JSL library and a minimal implementation of the JCP platform (JCP APIs and JCP GWs).
With this version you can startup a JOSP EcoSystem with multiple JOSP Objects and Services that can communicate directly or via JCP.
